Overview:
Verizon was looking for a fresh design strategy to modernize their web experience—enhancing usability and streamlining the path to purchase. Issues such as confusing navigation, cognitive overload, and pricing ambiguity were causing user fatigue and leading to drop-off.
During the discovery phase, I worked with UX colleagues to develop new features that solved user frustration on Verizon.com. I redesigned product cards to display only the most relevant content, ensuring transparency in pricing and eliminating dark patterns. We developed a dynamic wishlist and greeting bar for users to save and track their progress. To ensure simplicity and reduce distractions, we eliminated unnecessary elements—paving the way for a quick path to purchase. Following the discovery phase, I led the visual design execution team—creating pixel-perfect designs with detailed technical specs.
